<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swelling agent of rubber for the table tennis, which does not interfere with the adhesion of the rubber to a paddle with nonorganic solvent based adhesive, having superior permeability into the rubber, and sufficiently swelling and softening the rubber in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The swelling agent of the rubber for the table tennis mainly contains dibasic ester. The use of the swelling agent can shorten time required for drying it after applying a necessary amount of the swelling agent to the rubber for swelling and softening the rubber compared with a conventional adhesion auxiliary substance. The rubber where permeated the swelling agent is permeated can be stuck to the paddle with aqueous adhesive. Preferably, the aqueous adhesive mainly contains chloroprene rubber latex, natural rubber latex, acrylic resin emulsion, urethane resin emulsion, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin emulsion or polyvinyl acetate resin emulsion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
