PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspending device which can be easily attached to the top part of a wall member such as a partition board and does not come off even if large force is applied. SOLUTION: An L-shaped base frame 10 having a hook 2 for suspending an object to be suspended and an L-shaped slide frame 20 coupled slidably along one side of the base member 10 are coupled into an C-shape, and an adjusting screw 30 is provided to adjust the distance between the faces of the base frame 10 and the slide frame 20 so as to be parallel along the sliding direction of the slide frame 20.
