PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture overturning prevention device for fixing furniture on a wall surface, or the like of a building to prevent overturning of the furniture by the shaking of an earthquake, or the like. SOLUTION: A number of small holes 11a and 21a are disposed in connection ends 11 and 21 between a support body attaching plate part 1 and a furniture attaching plate part 2, and steel wire parts 31 of coil springs 3 are inserted into the small holes 11a and 21a so that the support body attaching plate part 1 and the furniture attaching plate part 2 are hinge-connected to each other with the coil springs 3. Preferably, the connection end 11 of the support body attaching plate part 1 overhangs in the opposite direction from the attaching face 1a and the connection end 21 of the furniture attaching plate part 2 overhangs also in the opposite direction from the attaching face 1a.
