<p>After harvesting and threshing or removal of the crop the remaining stalks are cut and pressed into bales with the appropriate device (2). The bales are deposited in a particular pattern across the field (3, 10, 11, 12) in order to optimize the collection process. One possible pattern is a row of bales (14) formed at the start and the end of a driving path, another pattern could be a cluster of bales (15). The intervals (20) of depositing can be preprogrammed or determined by a GPS (6, 6a, 6b).</p> |
