<p>The method involves receiving a defined print (20), which contains a point that is printed by each inkjet-nozzle of inkjet-print heads (6, 7) by individual very highly resolving electronic cameras (9, 12). The point is processed in an image evaluating unit (16) and the optical appearance of individual print points are individually and statistically examined with respect to contrast, magnitude, shape and/or position. Conclusions on the function or malfunctioning of the individual inkjet-nozzles are made from the examination. An independent claim is also included for a device installed in a digital printing machine.</p> |
