FILTER AND PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE THEREOF

A filter and a plasma display device having the same are provided to improve a dark/brightness contrast of the PDP by arranging an EMI shielding sheet on the front of the PDP. A plasma display device includes a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) and a filter, which is arranged on the front of the PDP. The filter includes a first base unit(220), a second base unit(200), and an EMI(ElectroMagnetic Interference) shielding sheet. The second base unit is laminated on the first base unit. The EMI shielding sheet includes an EMI shielding layer(210), which is formed between the first and second base units. The EMI shielding layer includes a conductive material with a refractive index equal to 0.3 to 0.99 times the refractive of the second base unit.
