An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag and an antenna thereof are provided to offer an RFID tag including a slot and reduce the size of an RFID antenna by using a CPW(Co-Planar Waveguide) power supply mode. An RFID tag includes a dielectric layer(103), an RFID antenna(120) including a power supply layer(102), which includes a slot(106) having a U-shape, formed on the dielectric layer, an IC chip(112) electrically connected to the power supply layers of both sides of the slot, a ground layer(104) formed under the dielectric layer, and a short pin(114,116) connecting the power supply layer and the ground layer. Both ends of the IC chip are connected to the power supply layers placed to the both sides of a central part of the slot with a strap(108,110). The power supply layer uses a CPW power supply mode. |
