An electrode is steeped in a solution of Mg and B and a negative voltage is applied to the electrode so as to precipitate superconductive MgB<SUB>2 </SUB>on the electrode. Superconductive MgB<SUB>2 </SUB>is easily manufactured in various forms and at low costs without any special device.
