The inner pipe (6) has a corrugated profile. It engages on the outer pipe (4) along at least part of its length. The exhaust pipe (2) is curved and the contact area is located in the curve. The inner pipe is fastened to the outer at one end of the exhaust pipe. The inner tube has thinner walls than the outer tube. It consists of a material which is more heat resistant than that of the outer tube. During manufacture, the inner tube is fitted into the outer one, and a mandrel with corrugated head is inserted for bending. |
