DATA SLOT ALLOCATION METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING UNCOMPRESSED AV DATA

A method for allocating data slots for transmitting uncompressed AV(Audio Video) data is provided to transmit the uncompressed AV data efficiently through a millimeter wave through several tens of GHz band. A method for allocating data slots for transmitting uncompressed AV data comprises the following steps of: transmitting a first super frame during a first beacon period; receiving a frame requesting a data slot from at least one wireless device(200a, 200b, or 200c) belonging to a network within a data slot reservation period included in the first super frame; transmitting a response frame to the frame to at least one wireless device within the data slot reservation period; and transmitting a second super frame, including a data slot allocated to at least one wireless device, during a second beacon period. Communication with the wireless device is performed through a millimeter wave channel.
