PURPOSE: A method for selecting video/sound of a digital TV is provided to automatically control video and sound appropriate for a program without a user's manually manipulating an OSD menu. CONSTITUTION: According to a program's category, a digital TV sets and then stores a control value for video/sound. From a program related information, a program category that a viewer selected is searched. Then, the digital TV applies the stored control value to the category of the searched program, and outputs the video and sound of the corresponding program. |
