Method and apparatus for quality of service mapping

A method for mapping quality of service in a session, said session comprising one or more flows, each of the flows having associated required QoS parameters. Said session is established through a network comprising a plurality of domains each having defined by a network operator of the domain a set of service classes. The QoS parameters for each individual flow are compared to the sets of service classes and the flows are mapped by a mapping agent in said network to a corresponding service class. Said mapping is performed for each of the network domains.
