In the present invention, there is disclosed a microstructure filter for fluids comprising: a plurality of projections (7) which are arranged in rows in mutually juxtaposed relationship and which project out of a base plate (1) and which are an integral component of the base plate (1). Said projections (7) are covered by a cover plate defining along with the base plate (1) passages (8) between the projections (7) wherein unfiltered fluid flowing out of an elongate inlet slot (5) passes through said passages (8) to the filter outlet side.
