A magnet rotation type magnetic refrigerator is provided to obtain noticeable cooling effect by moving cooling water in two directions without any friction between valves, by increasing the number of fixed AMRs and employing rotary magnets. A magnet rotation type magnetic refrigerator includes first to fourth AMRs(Active Magnetic Regenerators) arranged at 90° intervals, facing each other in two pairs. First and second magnets(210A,210B) are arranged at 135° interval and driven to rotate by a magnet rotation assembly. High and low temperature heat exchangers are thermally connected to the AMRs respectively. When the first magnet enters the first AMR and applies magnetic fields, the second magnet comes out of the third AMR.
