The mold broadside plate for continuous casting of metal, comprises mold broadside front plate (110), a mold broadside rear plate (120), a bolt element (130) with a bolt head for connecting the broadside front plate with the cold side of the rear plate, a guide plate (140), which is intended between the bolt head and the mold broadside rear plate. The guide plate has a guide layer (142) that is intended on the mold broadside rear plate for enabling friction arms displacements of the mold broadside rear plate in relation to the bolt element. The mold broadside plate for continuous casting of metal, comprises mold broadside front plate (110), a mold broadside rear plate (120), a bolt element (130) with a bolt head for connecting the broadside front plate with the cold side of the rear plate, a guide plate (140), which is intended between the bolt head and the mold broadside rear plate. The guide plate has a guide layer (142) that is intended on the mold broadside rear plate for enabling friction arms displacements of the mold broadside rear plate in relation to the bolt element. The guide layer is made of a material, which is applicable on the guide plate by coating method such as physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition or a plasma coating method. The guide plate is hardened, is nodded with a nickel layer and is laid on the outside of the nickel layer. A conical spring washer is intended between the bolt head and the guide plate. The bolt element is formed as screw and the bolt head is formed as screw head of the screw.
