A portable apparatus for measuring wheel balance is provided to extend the life span of a tire by manually performing a repair work without using an additional power source. A portable apparatus for measuring wheel balance comprises a mounting ring(5) and at least three clip units(7). The mounting ring has a circular ring shape corresponding to a rib section(3) of a wheel(1) to be measured. The clip unit is installed at the mounting ring to fix the mounting ring to the rib section. A center plate(9) is disposed corresponding to a hub cap(25) formed at the rotational center of the wheel and has a bolt hole at the center portion thereof. A plurality of ribs(29) are fixed between the center plate and the mounting ring. A centering bolt(31) is inserted into the bolt hole of the center plate to prevent eccentricity of the center plate. A balance weight(33) has a magnet(35) therein such that the balance weight is attached to a weight attachment section of the mounting ring.
