摘要 FIELD: testing of machines, engines, namely, testing of gas-turbine engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes mounting and fastening the engine on rigid stand bench, connecting its shaft by means of intermediate shaft and sleeve to the shaft of braking device, launching the engine into operation and testing thereof. Device contains braking device with a sleeve on the end of the shaft, input and exhaust devices. New feature in the method is connection of engine shaft through intermediate shaft with a sleeve to compressor shaft, which is used as pneumatic brake, while a lemniscate is installed at compressor input and, an exhaust device is installed at compressor output. New feature in the device is realization of pneumatic brake device in form of multi-stepped two-contour compressor with lemniscate at input and exhaust device at output with controllable nozzle orifice. At input section of the compressor an additional stator cover is mounted, composed of segment inserts, installed between the blades of guiding devices. The segments are provided with profile cutouts, corresponding to the shape of blade profiles on the radius of insert installation. Each ring of inserts is provided with flange shelves, which are used to attach inserts to external cover. ^ EFFECT: simplification of stand equipment, reduced costs of testing. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
