A INFORMATION ACCESS CONTROL SERVICE SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD ON A HOME GATEWAY

An information access control service system through a home gateway and a method thereof are provided to enable an authenticated user to control an information device by providing an information access control service through the home gateway according to a set security policy. An information access control service system through a home gateway(300) comprises a security policy module(345), an active security policy storage unit(325), a user authentication agent(330), and an information device control agent(405). The security policy module stores the security policy of the home gateway. The active security policy storage unit performs a continuous access control service in modifying the security policy. The user authentication agent authenticates a user(350) for controlling the information device(230) of a home network. The information device control agent transmits a control instruction signal to the information device.
