Roll of tubing, held inside rectangular frames formed by U shaped profiles with ribs secured between ends of profile arms

The tubing is held inside a series of rectangular frames each comprising a U-shaped profile and a rib secured between the free ends of the profile arms. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming the roll by forming it on a fitting which has a collapsible hub, the profiles being positioned inside the fitting before winding. Once the tubing has been wound into a roll the ribs are secured in place and the roll is lifted away from the hub.
