The invention relates to an electronic circuit increasing the resolution of the linear motion of a cursor mechanism. The mechanisms in use covert the rotary motion of a stepping motor into linear motion. The magnitude of the improvement of the cursor's resolution obtained by the present invention is by 2 grades superior to the technical requirements of the mechanical system. The electronic circuit urges the motor to move by micro steps; same circuit is programmed by a computer, is furnished with all the data referred to the cursor's motion, and is able to divide each complete step of the motor in 2 to 250 steps, increasing, thus, the resolution of the mechanism up to 250 steps. |
