A topical pharmaceutical preparation for administering slightly soluble PDE4 inhibitor is described. A surprisingly good systemic bioavailability is observed with this dosage form. The invention relates to the pharmaceutical technology, in particular the topical pharmaceutical preparation containing as an active ingredient one of the following substances: Roflumilast, the salts of Roflumilast, N-oxide of the pyridine residue of Roflumilast or its salts. The pharmaceutical preparation also contains one or several carriers and /or excipients acceptable for the topical use. One of the excipients represents polyethylene glycol. |
