Disclosed is a laminate steel sheet for use as a can body of a two-piece can, which satisfies the requirements shown by the three formulae below and has a polyester resin layer on at least one surface of the steel sheet, wherein the polyester resin layer contains 3 to 30 vol% of an incompatible subphase resin dispersed therein and the subphase resin has a glass transition temperature of 5°C or lower and a flattening ratio on a cross-sectional surface of 0.5 or less: d<=r, 0.1<=d/R<= 0.25 and 1.5<=h/(R-r)<=4 (wherein R: the radius of an unmolded disk-shaped laminate steel sheet having a weight equivalent to that of the can body of the two-piece can; h: the height of the can body; r: the maximum radius of the can body; and d: the minimum radius of the can body). The laminate steel sheet can be used for the manufacture of a two-piece can body having a high degree of processing such as a two-piece can for use in an aerosol can. Thus, a two-piece can made of a laminate steel sheet and free from the detachment or fracture of a resin layer can be manufactured. |
