A wire connector is provided to offer an easy work environment by previously preventing an electrical insulated cable from being twisted in the case of winding or unwinding the insulated cable and maintaining a firm state even though a worker strains the insulated cable forcedly. A wire connector consists of a socket(100) and a plug(200). The socket(100) is composed of a conductor(10), a nonconductor(20), and a flexible nonconductor(30). An insertion hole, into which an insulated cable is inserted, is formed at one side of the conductor(10). At the other side, a connection hole is formed so as to be connected with a connection protrusion formed at the plug(200). The nonconductor(20) comprises a plurality of set screws so as to maintain a firmly fixed state when the insulated cable is inserted into the insertion hole. The flexible nonconductor(30), in which plural sills are formed, is inserted into the connection hole. The plug(200) is composed of a conductor(40) and a nonconductor(50). At one side of the conductor(40), an insertion hole, into which another insulated cable is inserted, is formed. The connection protrusion, which is inserted into the connection hole of the conductor(10), is formed at the other side. The nonconductor(50) comprises a plurality of set screws so as to maintain a firmly fixed state when the insulated cable is inserted into the insertion hole of the conductor(40).
