A process for the preparation of composite material containing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and carbon nanotubes (NT) in amount of 11.4-47.2% of PTFE weight involves mixing of aqueous slurries of PTFE and NT, coagulation of PTFE particles, mechanical treatment of coagulum, for instance in drum mill, washing, drying and heating of coagulum, formation of the material sample under the pressure while heating to sintering temperature of PTFE particles. The technical result is in high relative flexural yield stress, up to 20 MPa, and high elastic constant of the material, up to 1560 MPa. |
