The system (1) has a weighing hook (2) incorporating a weight control system and on which a portable fire extinguisher (3) is supported. The control system is constituted of a recoil spring (12), precision sensor (5), electronic control and supply device (4), warning light (16), buzzer (7) and a transmitter (8). The transmitter transmits a digital signal (S) to a control room. The buzzer and the warning light are triggered when the weight of the extinguisher is reduced.
