PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder having effect of realizing 'fresh and young externals' and 'smooth and fine finishing' of the skin, and to provide cosmetics exhibiting 'fresh and young externals' and 'smooth and fine finishing' by using the powder. SOLUTION: A platy compound powder is obtained by adhering a flat organic polymer powder on a substrate platy powder, wherein the average particle size of the compound powder is 1-150μm. As the substrate platy powder, titanium oxide-covered synthetic phlogopite, which colors polarized red, is especially suitably illustrated. By containing such compound powder, cosmetics can have 'fresh and young externals' and 'smooth and fine finishing' of the skin as optical effects. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
