PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of easily eliminating a jammed paper sheet. SOLUTION: The paper sheet conveying device 1A comprises a first main guide member 71 pivotally supported by a first rotation fulcrum 73a in a lower end thereof along the conveying direction of a booklet 100C to move between a paper sheet receiving position and a paper sheet delivering position, and a first auxiliary guide member 72 pivotally supported by a second fulcrum point 72a on the same axis with the first rotation fulcrum 73a in relation to the first main guide member 71 to be opened in relation to the first main guide member 71 with a turn around the second rotation fulcrum 72a when it is pressed by the booklet 100C and a load resisting the movement from the paper sheet receiving position to the paper sheet delivering position is applied thereto.
