PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate and display the birthday of a user as a transmission destination or transmission source of electronic mail, based on the account of electronic mail address. SOLUTION: A control unit detects a number, contained in the account of the electronic mail address, decides days, estimated from figures of the number by analyzing a number with two lower figures, a number with three lower figures, a number with four lower figures, ..., of the number, in the order, as candidate days for the birthday of the user, when the number has 10 digits or smaller, and lists and displays the candidate days. When the account contains a number with 11 digits, the control unit will regard the number as a telephone number. When a desired candidate day is selected from among the listed candidate days, the selected candidate day is automatically input to a birthday input field of the corresponding user in a telephone book or a creation picture for electronic mail, to which fixed-form sentences celebrating the birthday have been input is displayed.
