PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an intake valve lift control mechanism and carry out cost reduction by controlling a switching pin and an oil circuit. SOLUTION: Mainly, three types or more of opening and closing patterns are formed by lift control of a valve in an engine interior. In embodiment, carrying out opening and closing control of an engine valve by a simple mechanism and a small number of solenoid valves and a liquid pressure pipe line is illustrated. Since design of the liquid pressure pipe line and a mechanism space can be substantially simplified, opening and closing control of a valve in accordance with a valve lift responding to various demands such as large horsepower, favorable combustion efficiency, and cylinder rest can be carried out by the same valve control mechanism in one engine.
