PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind and a tilt mechanism adapted to be secured within a cut-out part in a head rail. SOLUTION: The tilt mechanism comprises a casing adapted to hold a cog wheel rotatable around a first axis. The casing comprises two counter-positioned tilter hook-receiving channels, each chanel leading to the cog wheel sized and shaped for receiving at least a portion of a rotatable tilter hook adapted to engage and rotate the cog wheel.
