摘要 A software-based fault recovery method in an embedded control system is provided to improve system dependability by grouping components in a design stage based on software, evaluating usability of configuration groups, and restoring fault of the embedded control system with reconfiguration of the components providing maximum usability when system fault occurs in an application stage. A plurality of components are grouped and the configuration combination is extracted by using a software-based subset. The usability of the software-based component group and the component combination is evaluated in the design stage of the embedded control signal. Reconfiguration for the component combination providing the maximum usability is performed when the fault occurs in a part of components in an operation stage of the embedded control system. The software-based subset includes all components needed for normal operation of each software component forming the embedded control system, and data dependency between the software components and other components is differently expressed in the software-based subset.
