<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer of a self-aligning roller bearing having improved wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The retainer 11a of the self-aligning roller bearing is guided by an inner ring 23, and retains a plurality of spherical rollers 24a. The angleαformed by a first surface 17 and a second surface 18 is an obtuse angle, and the first surface 17 and the second surface 18 are the two surfaces which constitute a contact point 19 which is located on the inner diameter side, and which is brought into contact with the truck surface 27 of the inner ring 23. Because of this, when the retainer 11a is brought into contact with the truck surface 27 of the inner ring 23, stress concentration at the contact point 19 can be relaxed, and a contact surface pressure can be reduced. Thus, the wear of the truck surface 27 of the inner ring 23 and the retainer 11a can be reduced, and wear resistance can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
