PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile apparatus with a configuration capable of automatically sorting and processing received facsimiles, and causing a user to confirm specific sorts of facsimiles and to specify processes. SOLUTION: Facsimile sorting of facsimile data is automatically determined, and the facsimile data are processed in a processing format combined with the facsimile sorting. However, a confirmation request is notified when the specific facsimile sorting is determined, and the facsimile data are processed in the processing format subject to an input processing when the processing format with respect to the facsimile data to which the confirmation request is notified is subjected to input operation.
