<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data registration to a database simply. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: acquiring data to be registered into a database (S510); establishing a priority to each of a plurality of kinds of matters beforehand established as a matter to which the priority is given when the data to be registered are compressed (S509); selecting one matter with the highest priority among the plurality of kinds of matters, and applying compression processing for the data to be registered to it according to a compression method corresponding to the selected matter (S511); selecting one matter with the next priority when the size of compressed data as a result of compression is over the data size which can be registered into the database, and applying compression processing for the data to be registered to it according to a compression method corresponding to the selected matter (S512, S513, S511); and otherwise, registering the compressed data into the database (S515). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
