PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control system capable of miniaturizing a traffic signal controller, capable of reducing a manufacturing cost, and capable of facilitating an installation work, a traffic signal light driving system, a driving apparatus, a traffic signal light, and the traffic signal controller for configuring the traffic signal control system. SOLUTION: Signal lights 10, 10, 10, 10 are installed on posts which are disposed at a junction, then each of SSUs 200 is disposed near each signal light 10, and the traffic signal controller 100 for controlling lighting etc. of each signal light 10 is disposed near a post. The traffic signal controller 100 outputs a control signal for controlling each signal light 10 to each of the SSUs 200 via each signal line 6. Each of SSUs 200 acquires the control signal, and makes each semiconductor relay for making each signal light of red, blue, and yellow to be on/off individually based on the acquired control signal.
