PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass composition suitable for a display panel which has a low dielectric constant, which is excellent in the thermal decomposition property of a resin when mixed with the resin to be a paste and where yellowing is hardly caused when used for the coating material of electrodes such as silver and the like. SOLUTION: The glass composition having a low softening point is characterized by containing at least B2O3, R2O (wherein, R is one or more kinds from among Li, Na and K) and V2O5whose content is 0.02 wt.% or more and 2 wt.% or less and by practically not containing lead.
