PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device for allowing smooth on-/off-boarding of a vehicle body having wheels while suppressing the occurrence of noises resulting from a clearance between a car sill and an elevator hall sill. SOLUTION: The elevator device 1 comprises a passenger car 2 provided elevatably along a plurality of floors K and having the car sill 4 extending to the side of each floor K, and car sill guide members 8b provided on the plurality of floors K, respectively, and connected to the plurality of elevator hall sills 6 extending to the side of the passenger car 2 so that a car sill end face T1 on the side of each of the plurality of floors K of the car sills 4 is located on the same plane as an elevator hall sill end face T2 on the side of the passenger car of each of the plurality of elevator hall sills 6, for guiding the car sill 4 along the plane in the direction of elevating the passenger car 2.
