PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable crane overwinding preventing device for improving working efficiency and reliability while preventing the overwinding of hooks. SOLUTION: The plurality of hooks are supported by wire ropes, respectively, and hung down from the front end of a working attachment of a movable crane, and a plurality of drums are provided in an upper rotating body for winding up or down the hooks via the wire ropes. The overwinding preventing device 20 comprises a plurality of overwinding detecting means 21b, 22b for detecting the overwound conditions of the hooks, a detecting means for detecting a corresponding relationship between the plurality of hooks and the plurality of drums actually connected thereto via the wire ropes, and a control means 33 for receiving signals from the overwinding detecting means and then controlling the rotation of one drum connected to the hook in the overwound condition to be stopped and the rotation of other drums to be continued in accordance with the detection of the detecting means when one hook is in the overwound condition.
