<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID tag capable of being suitably used even in an environment where welding sparks fly about. <P>SOLUTION: In the RFID tag 11 having an inlet 1 formed of an IC chip 4 and an antenna 3, the inlet 1 is covered with a member produced by baking and carbonizing acrylic fiber. The member covers the inlet 1 with a predetermined thickness around the inlet 1, and the inlet 1 forms a predetermined distance between it and a mounting object with this thickness.
