<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-resistant fabric having improved light resistance, high tenacity and excellent flame resistance and heat-resistant protective clothing composed of the heat-resistant fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-resistant fabric comprises a spun yarn composed of ≥35 wt.% of dyed para-aramid fibers, ≥5 wt.% of nondyed para-aramid fibers, and 0-60 wt.% of meta-aramid fibers. The fabric containing the para-aramid fibers has improved light resistance, high tenacity and excellent flame resistance.
