PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a multi-view display function capable of suppressing the degradation in visibility to other image in the case where one of images is an image including a black strip. SOLUTION: The display device includes a first and second screens which are formed in a common display element and can be respectively viewed from first and second visual fields, a display controller 10 which displays the first and second images respectively on the first and second screens, and an image quality adjusting section 30 which adjusts the image quality of at least one of the first and second images. In the case where the prescribed region of at least one screen of the first and second screens is displayed in a black strip shape, the image quality adjusting section 30 raises the brightness of the black strip region.
