PARTICLE MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle measuring apparatus for quickly responding, and accurately measuring a concentration and a type of particles. SOLUTION: The particle measuring apparatus is provided with: an inlet for sucking the particles in the air; piping for transporting the sucked particles; a sample cell for passing the particles through the piping; a light source for irradiating the particles passing through the sample cell with a light; a first optical sensor for detecting a scattered light scattered by the particles; a second optical sensor for detecting a fluorescence generated from the particles by the light; an analysis section for identifying the type of the particles based on an output signal from the second optical sensor; and a control section for increasing an intensity of the light emitted from the light source based on an output signal from the first optical sensor when the particles are detected, and instructing the second optical sensor to detect the fluorescence.
