PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect cables to a control device with hand without any necessity of a tool and prevent damage of other components of the control device in the connecting work. SOLUTION: This control box 8 of a sewing machine is provided with a plurality of connectors 83 connecting the cables for transmitting control signals to a plurality of electric functional members respectively, the control device 8 outputting various signals via the plurality of connectors and controlling the driving of the sewing machine 1 by the operation of the electric functional members, and a box cover 81 covering the connectors and the control device; wherein the control device has a connector disposition part 84 disposed with the plurality of connectors concentratedly adjacent to the surface of the control device, while the box cover is formed with an opening part 89 in a position facing the connector disposition part, and the opening part has a connector cover 82 formed of a flexible material, covering the opening part, guiding the cables and detachably attached to the box cover.
