<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust resonance frequencies of antenna elements by reducing magnetic coupling between neighboring antenna elements. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 1 is equipped with a rod antenna 30 that is a first antenna element, an antenna guide 10 in which the rod antenna 30 is housed, and a second antenna element 40 that is disposed adjacently to the antenna guide 10. In the antenna guide 10, a tubular magnetic substance sheet 11 is provided in its outer circumferential portion adjacent to the second antenna element 40. The magnetic substance sheet 11 is provided with a slit 12 in an axial direction. Magnetic coupling between the rod antenna 30 housed in the antenna guide 10 and the second antenna element 40 is reduced by the magnetic substance sheet 11, and antenna performance such as antenna gains or reception sensitivity of the antenna elements can be maintained. Furthermore, since the magnetic substance sheet 11 is provided with the slit 12, the resonance frequency of the second antenna element 40 can be adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
