A branch type standing pouch in which an unsealed nozzle can be erected e asily without requiring any special member or process, and the content can b e extracted easily while holding the unsealed nozzle stably. A pouch surface material having an extraction nozzle backside portion composed of a plastic film and becoming the extraction nozzle backside when it is folded back and a pouch body surface portion composed of a plastic film and continuous ther eto, a pouch backside material composing the pouch body backside, an extract ion nozzle surface material, and a bottom member are heat sealed to constitu te a branch type standing pouch where the extraction nozzle is branched from the top of the pouch body. In this pouch, two nozzle reinforcing surfaces a re formed laterally symmetrically on the opposite sides of a first protrusio n by providing, above the center of the pouch surface material, the first pr otrusion extending from the center of the extraction nozzle backside portion over the fold back portion to above the center of the pouch body surface po rtion, and two second protrusions laterally symmetrically formed on the oppo site sides of a first protrusion. Furthermore, a third protrusion extending in the nozzle longitudinal direction is provided in the center of the extrac tion nozzle surface material, and a fourth protrusion is provided on the ext ension of the third protrusion above the center of the pouch backside materi al, whereby a branch type standing pouch is obtained in which the extraction nozzle can be secured upright at the time of unsealing.
