An information processing device and a control method thereof are provided to effectively reduce a time for processing initial phase adjustment performed after one of information processors is exchanged in the information processing device which includes a plurality of information processors and a phase adjuster for each information processor. A crossbar switch(10) connects a plurality of information processors electrically with each other. The crossbar switch includes a phase adjuster(C1,C2) adjusting phase between the information processors, a power-off signal transmitter, and an initializer. The power-off signal transmitter transmits a power-off signal, which represents that power of one information processors is cut off, to the phase adjuster corresponding to the power-off information processor. The initializer initializes the phase adjuster corresponding to the power-off information processor by receiving the power-off signal from the power-off signal transmitter. The information processor is cut off when a board(21,22) forming the information processor is removed. The phase adjuster adjusts the phase between a data signal received from the information processor and a timing signal.
