MULTIPLE IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a multiple image display device capable of respectively satisfying display characteristics having relations contradicting each other with respect to the display images in different directions.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 (multiple image display device) includes a pixel R (first pixel group) for the right side image for displaying the right side image (the first image) which is the display image for an observer A existing on a right side facing the display panel and a pixel L (second pixel group) for the left side image for displaying the left side image (the second image) which is the display image for an observer B existing on a left side. A color filter layer 14 of the liquid crystal display device 10 is made smaller in the film thickness of a color filter RCF for the right side image constituting the pixel R for the right side image than the film thickness of the color filter LCF for the left side image constituting the pixel L for the left side image.
