PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor capable of certainly performing a positioning between a first core and a second core, while the inductor being simply constituted. SOLUTION: The inductor is equipped with: a coil 40; a first core 20 in which a pillar leg 24 is vertically arranged with an air core of the coil 40 threaded therethrough from a plate 21, an outer wall core 23 is vertically arranged from the plate 21 in the state of surrounding this pillar leg 24, and a first core positioning 23d is provided at the outer wall core 23; a second core 30 a second core positioning portion 32 is provided in peripheries of a plate state; and a connection terminal 50 in which a first terminal positioning portion 52 is provided for carrying out a positioning to the first core 20 by engaging with the first core positioning portion 23d, and a second terminal positioning portion 53 is provided for carrying out a positioning to the second core 30 by engaging with the second core positioning portion 32.
