QUICK SETTING AGENT FOR CEMENT AND METHOD FOR APPLYING CEMENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick setting agent capable of optimizing the setting time and the initial strength of a cement composition when the cement composition is used for a use for which a pot life is required.

SOLUTION: The quick setting agent for cement includes a calcium aluminate, blast furnace slag and slaked lime, wherein the ratio of the slaked lime in the total of the quick setting agent is regulated to be 1-3 mass%. In this case, the pot life is secured since setting is moderated and the initial strength is improved. In addition, these effects are securely obtained by setting the ratio of the calcium aluminate in the total of the quick setting agent at 30-70 mass% and the ratio of the blast furnace slag in the total of the quick setting agent at 27-69 mass%.
