PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily facilitate position adjustment in the installation of light shield plates and retention of the installed states and to smoothly connect adjacent projection images. SOLUTION: The multi-display system projects projection images from a plurality of projectors PJ1 to PJ3 onto the projection face 10 of a screen SCR so that part of each of the projection images from the projectors PJ1 to PJ3 is superposed on part of its adjacent projection image. In the multi-display system, a plurality of light shield plates SG are periodically disposed in contact with the projection face 10 in the superposed areas and between perpendicular lines Q1 and Q3 drawn to the projection face 10 from the projection optical system of the projectors PJ1 and PJ3 set on one outside and the other outside, respectively, of the plurality of projectors.
